Human rights leader and champion of Israel’s importance in the Middle East likely to run against Kirsten Gillibrand
NEW YORK — April 22, 2023 — Khaled Salem for U.S. Senate as the next senator from New York. The election will take place in November of 2024. If nominated, Salem will likely face incumbent Kirsten Gillibrand, who is seeking a third term. Salem has a proven track record as a leader in Middle East human rights efforts. He is a staunch opponent of war of any sort and is quite concerned about the Russian – Ukraine war. He has opposed Vladimir Putin for many years and predicted years ago that after Putin was angry enough about the breakup of the USSR, and the annexation of Crimea, Ukraine would fall on orders from Russia’s dictator.
Salem is clear about the “war crimes and outright illegal actions, including forcing people out of their homes,” imposed by Russia on the Ukraine citizens. According to Salem, “In fact, we can consider that World War III has actually begun.”
As Salem sees things, Russia invading Ukraine is only the beginning. He added, “Putin started this war and all war crimes committed point to his dictatorship. China has a close relationship with Russia and Putin is courting the Asian leaders to take over the rest of the world. We must stop these two powerful this regimes.”
Salem also noted ongoing sociopolitical threats imposed by China on its people, on Taiwan and on islands in the South China Sea. To this point, Salem said, “Putin is out to annihilate anyone who gets in his way and will punish countries by withholding oil.”
Candidate Salem, as a peacemaker encourages all Arab countries to fully cooperate with Israel. “This is now the time to consider the power of NATO protecting the Middle East, Israel, Europe and the United State. Israel is a cornerstone of the safety of the free world. The Arab world should look at the geographic consequences if Turkey and Iran force Israel’s hand. There needs to be a new way of thinking about peace. Our children’s lives and their futures are at stake. Find peace in the Middle and come together against Putin and China,” Salem said.
